Tell Me/Oseh Shalom Ur’fuah was commissioned by the Santa Fe Women’s Ensemble, director Linda Raney, and premiered by them in December of 2017. It is a response to injustices and violence, especially towards Muslim friends, combining an English poem that is an expression of listening and understanding with Hebrew prayers for healing and peace. I have adapted both the Oseh Shalom and Ana El Na prayers, to include peace for all and emotional healing.
