“Glorious Journeys,” from Physical Impossibility: A Jewish Reflection on Scientific Mystery, pairs a prayer about God’s glory filling the universe with an original poem about astronomy. Specifically, the poem is about a recently discovered quasi-moon of Venus that is subject to the Three Body Problem, wherein it is impossible to predict the path of a celestial body that is influenced by the gravitational fields of three larger celestial bodies. Premiered by C4: the Choral Composer/Conductor Collective March 14th & 15th, 2025; with conductor Jacob Lyon. Practice tracks are available.
