Reunion sets my own poetry about the poignancy and bittersweet emotions of a family reunion after months of pandemic-induced separation.   It was commissioned jointly by Joyful Noise, Cambridge Common Voices and the Central Illinois Youth Chorus for a performance on Zoom during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The music therefore incorporates the latency of the internet as part of the aesthetic, using aleatoric and asynchronous repetition of phrases.  It works well performed in-person.  The cello part is included in your purchase of the score.  There are also versions for 4-part mixed chorus and cello; and for 2-part mixed chorus, cello and piano.
