Frauenensemble der Dommusik: Don’t Call Me Beautiful
The Women’s Ensemble of Mariendom Linz (St. Mary’s Cathedral Linz), Cathedral Kapellmeister Andreas Peterl, performed the European premiere of “Don’t Call Me Beautiful” on the Cathedral’s DonnaStage series, June 21, 2024.
Astoria Choir: Lessons of Stone
The Astoria Choir, artistic director Adam Eggleston, premiered Lessons of Stone, a choral sound installation that spanned four different galleries of the Noguchi Museum in Long Island City, allowing the audience to wander from one audiovisual experience to another at their own pace. The work was inspired by the life and work of the museum’s namesake, sculptor and landscape artist Isamu Noguchi.  Original texts reflect Noguchi’s experience of time while creating his massive granite sculptures, the significance of the stone medium to him, the unique qualities of the museum that he designed, and his choice to voluntarily enter an internment camp with fellow Japanese Americans during World War II.  Presented as part of the Free First Fridays program at the museum and commissioned in honor of The Astoria Choir’s 10th Anniversary. June 7, 2024.

Reunion: Live Remote Performance May 10, 2021
Joyful NoiseCambridge Common Voices, the Central Illinois Youth Chorus, and cellist Martin Laufhutte presented the livestream premiere of “Reunion” for mixed choir, treble choir, and cello.  Ninety singers ranging in age from 9 to 81 came together over Zoom to perform a setting of an original poem expressing the bittersweet emotions of a family reunion after separation due to the pandemic.
